Reiwa is a modern – some call the syle brutal-modernism – houseboat. It is the home of the designer, and partly in use as B&B Reiwa – Amsterdam. The name is chosen because it was finished in 2019 May 1, the same date that marks the beginning of the new Japanese Era called REIWA.

The houseboat is situated in the east of Amsterdam, and floating on a wide canal, where the clean water from the IJsselmeer flows into Amsterdam. It is possible to reach it by boat. You can enjoy watersports as stand-up paddling (sup), canoe and swim. Easy access to the highway in only a couple of minutes, yet close to the center. You can just park, switch to the available bicycles and drive into Amsterdam in less than 15 minutes. On 300 m there is a public transport stop from where you can reach the center as well as go straight to the big musea area. The location itself is a quiet one in Amsterdam, yet close to restaurants and terraces at the former harbor or around the Java-plein where you can drink just a beverage or enjoy a variety of cuisines for dinner and breakfast.
